I liked the couple of slides with side-by-side comparisons. One storage option from AWS that should not be overlooked is Amazon Storage gateway. Indeed their EFS solution is essentially "FileStorageGatewayAsAService" and does not offer SMB but 'Storage Gateway comes in multiple flavors offering NFS/SMB/iSCSI.
The "better" or "best" description of one cloud providers solution vs. another is more opinion vs. fact and not really as helpful as just describing/comparing services. Today, your *best* will be their tomorrow's "much better"... until the day after that ;-)
