I can't seem to verify my student status, what should I do?
You can try the following options:
- +The program is only available to individual accounts. If you are using an enterprise account, you are not eligible to request student verification.
- +Each account can submit the verification request only once. If you happen to choose the wrong school and proceed to the next step, you will have one chance to modify the school information.
- +Please make sure that you use your legal name registered to your school when completing your information. If you fail because the name you use with your Alibaba Cloud account does not match the name you registered with at your school, please create a new account and verify your status again.

Student Central is a place for students looking to hone their technical know-how and learn about new and revolutionary technologies. Students can keep up with the latest trends, explore fun and innovative labs, and stand out from the competition by obtaining student certifications.

How do I join Student Central?
Student Central is a benefit provided to participants in the Alibaba Cloud for Students program. Sign up as a student in the Alibaba Cloud for Students program.

How much does it cost to join Student Central?
Nothing! As long as you are a verified student, Student Central is absolutely free.

Where is Alibaba Cloud for Students available?
The program is available to students at selected universities and colleges in these countries & regions.

How can I join Alibaba Cloud for Students?
After creating an Alibaba Cloud, submit proof of your student status here. After we verify that the information is genuine, your student status will be approved and you can enjoy the benefits that come with it.

How long does my student status last?
Your student status is valid for one (1) year upon the successful verification of your student identity.

Can I renew my verified student status when it expires?
You can renew your student status and cloud server for free if you belong to a participating AAEP institution. If not, your student status will be revoked and you will need to pay the original price of the cloud server to continue using it.

Alibaba Cloud Academic Empowerment Program (AAEP) is a global education program that aims to provide schools and students around the world with access to Alibaba Cloud learning resources to nurture future talent in the cloud computing and technology space.

Can my school join AAEP?
Yes! Applying institutions must take the following steps in order to participate in AAEP:
- +Fill in the online registration form.
- +Sign the General Terms & Conditions and return to Alibaba Cloud.
- +Nominate 1-2 Educator(s) to participate the instructor accreditation process.
- +Keep track of the teaching & learning activities with the Alibaba Cloud resources with the record sheet.
